Pre-galvanized expanded metal
Pre-galvanized expanded metal means that using galvanized steel sheet to produce expanded metal, before manufacturing merchandise, the raw materials steel sheet has already been coated a layer of zinc (hot-dipped galvanized).
After galvanization, the galvanized steel sheet is stretched. This process creates the pattern of diamond hole shape. Stretching process don’t waste any materials, because the steel sheet is not been cut or moved out, steel sheet simply stretched to form a shape of open. Pre-galvanized expanded metal can prevent rust and corrosion.
Feature
Durability: The coated layer of zinc can effectively protect expanded metal against environmental elements, such as rust and corrosion. Galvanized process makes expanded metal become more durable and resistant.
Cost-effective: As the coated layer of zinc is done before producing process, so all interface of finished stretched metal has already coated zinc.
Advanced Safety: Pre-galvanized expanded metal includes excellent grip and anti-slip, so galvanization is suitable for outside environment, such as walkway, skybridge, stair treads and ramps.
